Wow, I did not know that the Wind Serpents provided 8%. I have one tamed now, but need to level it.

I have one on Div but I hate it. Since gib and/or grimm are always in raids, is it necessary?

That, or if they change specs (I don't think all Lock specs provide that buff). I'm just trying to have different pets on standby to maximize raid buff potential.
